Spritual Rehabilitation

On August 8, 2009, we experienced the biggest 88 flood in Taiwan in fifty years. Through the media, we are glad that our homeland still exists. Already many of our compatriots are suffering from strong winds and bad waters! When we return to normal life on Monday, These suffering compatriots are still fighting against the wind and rain, their homes were washed away by bad water, and relatives are still trapped in the flooded area, Some family members even disappeared and died! However, the compatriots who exist do not know when they will be able to rebuild their homes!

We will never fully understand God's plan, why Taiwan should be subject to such a major disaster, We can only pray, ask the Lord Jesus to have mercy on all of us, and comfort the souls of these brothers and sisters who have suffered disasters, Give them the will to rebuild their homes! Of course, we are always God's instruments in His plan, Through our specific actions, we will send the people's livelihood materials needed by the disaster areas to their hands, At the same time, we should also bring the love of the Lord Jesus to them, especially at this moment when we express the spirit of the Gospel.

as merciful as your heavenly father

Pope Francis presided over the solemn ceremony in St. Peter's Basilica on Saturday, April 11 2015 at 5:30 pm, An edict titled "The Face of Compassion" was published. The motto of the Jubilee of Mercy is: "Be merciful as your Father is" (Luke 6:36). "Mercy is the way God unites us, giving us hope and feeling that we are always loved, despite our sinful limitations".

The pope emphasized that mercy is "the foundation that underpins the life of the Church". Mercy is never "a sign of weakness, but a characteristic of God's omnipotence". Forgiveness to those who have hurt us is a mandatory command, and we Christians cannot ignore it. The Pope emphasized that there are many times when forgiveness seems impossible; however, "forgiveness is a tool placed in the weak hands of a person, in order to have peace of mind", "Live happily". John Paul II also stresses "urgent need to preach and witness mercy in the contemporary world"
